President & Founder
Virginia Cortes is the founder of Sunshine State Angel Gowns, Inc. She has four children and four grandchildren. Her inspiration for this organization came from having experienced child loss as her first-born Robert Jr. passed away at the age of 5 and she had to buy the clothes he was laid to rest in.
She is the Vice president of Republicans in Action.
She is a volunteer member on the Florida Hospital Perinatal Infant Bereavement Board and many others.
She was an advocate for Florida House Bill 101 Certificates of Nonviable Birth-2017
She is a member of St Mary Magdalen Catholic Church
Yvonne Cortes Oliveras is a 34 year veteran educator. Her passion and calling is to teach. She taught students and teachers in Seminole County Public Schools for 22 years. She is a member of the Hispanic Chamber of Metro Orlando where she networks with other businesses in the community.
She donates her time, money and skills to the many nonprofit organizations.
She was the chairperson in the Casselberry Relay for Life event to help honor cancer survivors. She is a cancer survivor herself.
She is the Vice President for the Altamonte Women’s Club where she has served three years.
